Relevation
a fantasy series
I imagine this storyboard as the lead-up to the inciting incident of the story. We follow a young witch, Yuri as they travel from village to village trying to find their place in a world that seems to detest them. Yuri is all too happy to move on from this village when it seems to be just like all the previous ones. However, there seems to be something dangerous lurking in the forest. What Yuri encounters there will force them to stay and work together with the village in order to stop the darkness lurking in the forest. But does the village even deserve to be saved from a monster they created?
This storyboard was created in Storyboard Pro, and edited in DaVinci Resolve. The characters and the story were all created by me. I wanted to tell a fantastical story with ties to environmentalism and highlight the ways humans negatively impact the environment.
For this project, I taught myself how to use both Storyboard Pro and DaVinci Resolve. I wanted to extend my knowledge in other programs and make use of the unique tools Storyboard Pro offers. The camera tool was incredibly helpful with the tracking shots in the sequence.

Inbetween Two Stations
action scene
This storyboard is part of a bigger scene, which acts as the inciting incident that sends our heroes on their journey. We follow Márti as she tries to get through a train car in order to reach her partner, Oli. Márti and Oli have been betrayed by their organisation and there are bad guys after them. They have to fight their way back to each other and escape the moving train that is headed towards their doom.
Coming into this project I knew I wanted it to be an action scene and take place on a train. I thought the spacial limitations created by the setting could be interesting to explore. A lot of fight scenes seem to prefer more dynamic camera movements and frequent cuts. To achieve this look I decided Blender seemed like the best option. It allowed me to use a 3D Train model from BlenderSwap, which meant I didn't have to worry about the backgrounds in the shots. Moreover, it visualized the camera's restricted movement space but still allowed me to edit the background if needed. The characters were drawn and animated in 2D using the Grease Pencil tool and the animatic was edited in Premiere Pro.
Come Away, Love and Death
live-action horror short-film
In 2022 I worked with director Dionysios Tanteles to create storyboards for his live-action horror short film Come Away, Love and Death. The story follows a Witch (Alegra), as she griefs the disappearance of her fiancée (Agnes). She consults Margaret, who is the head witch, to help her find out what happened to Agnes, by hosting a seance. However, some secrets are best left a mystery.
